Champions of Regnum

Champions of Regnum is a MMORPG focused primarily on PvP (player vs player) and RvR (realm vs realm) aspects, but which also includes a PvE (player vs environment) mode where you can start out playing to learn all the basics of the game.

The first thing you need to do when you start playing is to choose one of the three available realms, which is one of the most important decisions that you'll make during the character design process. Alsius, Ignys, and Syrtis are the three options, and the one you choose will determine your friends within the world of Champions of Regnum, although not your playing style.

Once immersed in the world of Regnum, you'll discover that it is enormous. It is divided into a series of zones separated by geographical accidents like mountains and rivers, where players are free to enjoy the different facets of the game. So, for example, in some zones players can team up to fight monsters, while in others they'll be fighting amongst themselves.

The combat system, one of the pillars of the game, is similar to games like the popular 'World of Warcraft'. In other words, you'll have at your disposal tons of abilities depending on your skill level and your weapons, which you can use as you like.

Graphically, Champions of Regnum doesn't especially stand out, but the truth is, it ends up better this way. With less powerful, memory-consuming graphics, more players can join in.

Champions of Regnum is a really enjoyable MMORPG that especially hits its mark in those moments when dozens of players (and sometimes even hundreds) confront each other and battle for control of different realms.
